My Castle House - Policies

STANDARD CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4PM PST and CHECKOUT is 11AM PST

ALL our homes are NON-SMOKING homes.

PETS are not permitted in vacation home without prior approval (fee applies).

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE – This home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness or death that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. Please lock the doors when you leave the house. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. We provide some toys and games which may have small parts that can create a choking hazard. Please monitor all activities of minors in the home. We go out of our way to make the house safe for children but we do not guarantee our home to be safe for children. Please ensure they do not jump on the beds, especially bunk beds, play with the ceiling fans, climb on furniture or on house structures, etc. The tenant agrees to hold owners/managers blameless and have no liability for any damages resulting in injury, death or illness associated while on the premises/property.

DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $300 or $500 (depending on home and number of people) is required upon booking. This must be received within (5) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.

* No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

* No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

* All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in appropriate outside trashcans, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned (please use Lemishine).

* 2 loads of wash are done and one is dried – WHITES ONLY. Only 2-3 sets of sheets should be washed at a time.

* All keys are left where found and unit is left locked (if applicable, do not deadbolt front door upon departure-always enter and exit through front door).

* All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.

* No furniture, linens, kitchenware, décor, etc. are lost or damaged.

* No early check-in or late checkout (without prior approval).

* The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by My Community.

* NO house parties. Only the tenants listed on the rental agreement are allowed on the property.

* Do not allow unauthorized persons to enter the property, not even neighbors.

CANCELLATIONS - All cancellations, shortened stays or change in dates are subject to an administrative fee of $50.00. Anaheim Castle House will retain all prepaid funds should guest cancel or shorten their stay fewer than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to arrival unless the rental property is re-booked for the same dates and rate. A partial refund may be applicable for the same dates booked at an adjusted rate. The stay may be exchanged if a minimum of ninety (90) day notice is given.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests occupying the property is limited based on property. The names of the guests as written on the contract shall be a complete listing of all the guests from the arrival date until departure. The property MAY NOT be used for any large gatherings exceeding the named guests without prior approval. These limits and policies will be strictly enforced. If you break this rule, you may be evicted at any time with no refund of deposit or remaining nights.

INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. Amenities include the following start-up items: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoo, and soap.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units, but we provide extra pool towels to be used at the home.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

PARKING – Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles in the driveway. Additional vehicles must be parked on the street. Cars parked on the street on Thursdays from 12 pm to 4 pm may be ticketed or towed. Any citations will be the responsibility of the tenant. No more than four cars can be parked on the street in front of the house. NO driving or parking on the grass.

POOL/HOT TUBADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED at all times. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! Please do not allow children in the backyard area, especially the pool/spa area, without supervision. The tenant will designate someone in their party to be a lifeguard while people are swimming. The lifeguard will monitor the pool and spa areas. No diving. No unattended children under the age of 12 allowed in hot tub. An adult must be present at all times. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. All children who are not potty trained must use a swim diaper in the swimming pool and spa at all times. If feces are found in the pool the tenant will be charged a fee for draining, cleaning and refilling the pool or spa. Guests may use the remote inside the house to turn on the hot tub heater to heat the hot tub but guests may NOT TOUCH any pool or spa equipment located outside the house. Any unauthorized touching of the equipment will result in the immediate loss of deposit (changes may result in an extremely high gas bill). In two of the homes, the hot tub remains hot at all times, no remote required. No swimming after 10pm. If you pay the pool heating fee, it is heated to 84 degrees.

BBQADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED at all times. Please clean grill plates and utensils. You can use the grill brush. If housekeeping is required to do this, you will be charged $35.

FIREPLACESADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED at all times. Please use extreme caution if you choose to use the fireplace. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.

NOISE ORDINANCE – The noise ordinance in Anaheim is 10pm. Please be considerate of our neighbors. This means no noise or loud talking outdoors after 10pm.

TRAVEL INSURANCE – We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase.

MURALS – Please watch your children around the murals. They are very expensive and we do not want to have to take your deposit for damage done to them.

LAUNDRY – You are welcome to use the washer and dryer but please buy your own detergent if you plan to do several loads of personal laundry. PLEASE don’t put shoes, toys, dirt, sand, or anything harmful into the washer. We purposefully do not have bleach in the house, please don’t buy it and leave it in the home. On your check out day please strip all beds that have been slept in of their sheets and pillowcases (do not take the mattress covers or comforters off - they are washed separately and regularly at an off site facility). We ask that each client wash 2 loads of white linens. The first load should be washed and placed in the dryer and the dryer started before you leave. The second load can be placed in the washer and started before you leave. PLEASE only put 2-3 sets of sheets in each load (depending on size) and make sure there are no colored linens in the wash with them! If someone in your party has soiled on anything that doesn’t get washed each turnover (decorative pillows, stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, comforters/quilts, carpet, etc.), you need to inform our cleaners in writing (and verbally if you see them) and leave it in the laundry room. We hope that if you or your child stains or ruins something, you will try to take care of it or let us know.

THINGS BREAK – We cannot guarantee that everything in the house will work 100% of the time, but if there is a problem, CALL US IMMEDIATELY and we will do our best to rectify any problems. No refunds will be given for failure of household items. If you have paid a pool/spa heating fee and it does not appear to be heated, call us immediately so we can check it out. No pool heating refunds will be issued if we are not notified first.
